Today around 6:00 my grandfather on my father's side passed away. He was 91 years old and was in the critical care wing of the nursing home with a terminal cancer, but he contracted pneumonia and died tonight. He's always been a part of my life, though he lived a few states away. I saw him every year, twice a year and he and grandma never forgot my birthday even though I'm one of over thirty grandchildren. Our family reunions will be very empty without him.

Whatever god you believe in, please pray for my grandmother because we're not sure how long she'll survive now that's he's gone. Thanks.
